Innovative museums from the BRICS countries have joined together to form a new international association

The Memorandum on the foundation of BRICS Alliance of Science and Technology Museum was signed at the ATOM Museum at VDNH on Saturday, November 1

The Association brought together representatives of the Institute of Management and Development of Museums in Brazil (IDG), the Museum of Tomorrow (Rio de Janeiro), the Catavento Interactive Science Museum (Sao Paulo), Science Cities of India, the Iziko Museums in South Africa, the Arte Museum (Dubai) and the young Russian innovative hi-tech Museum ATOM.

ATOM is the youngest science and technology museum in Russia and the world dedicated to the nuclear industry and its future. History, modern technologies, and the future are spread across seven floors of a unique building featuring the largest panoramic windows at VDNH. The museum captivates visitors with its architecture and exhibitions. Here, we showcase the nuclear industry and science in a way that's clear and exciting for both kids and adults.

ATOM is a museum for the whole family. Adults can explore multimedia exhibitions; young people can take part in quizzes, quests, and lab experiments; and children can enjoy games, creative workshops, and hands-on engineering activities. Step into the once-closed world
of the nuclear industry!

Our guides will enrich your journey through the ATOM Museum with fresh insights, sharing historical facts, breaking down nuclear technology into simple terms, and offering a glimpse into the future of nuclear energy. And all this in just 45–90 minutes!

Guided tours for adults and children run daily from Tuesday to Sunday. You can buy tickets online or at the box office, or book individual and group tours by phone.

Each participant must have both an admission ticket and a guided tour ticket.

The lab also transforms into a lecture hall for up to 30 people, hosting science talks and hands-on workshops that introduce modern technologies in the nuclear field and beyond.

In the lab, all theory is put to practical test! This attracts young people who are discovering careers in science.
